What Should I Pack for Sundries?

Sunscreen

Buying sunscreen at the resort is very expensive. You're definitely bringin checked bags, so get a big bottle of sunscreen and bring it with you. I recommend SPF 50 or higher, and make sure it's reef-safe.

Bug Spray

This resort regularly fogs the resort grounds for mosquitoes. Mosquito-born illnesses are not uncommon in the region, so I accept this compromise. The only bugs I've ever had trouble with are sand fleas on the beach during and after sunset. It's best to just stay off the sandy parts at night unless you want to be scratching your ankles all night. That said (and confirmation bias aside), Dengue and Malaria do show up on the island. It's probably smart to bring some small form of bug spray with you. And to have all your vaccinations up to date.
